Settlers' Muster Book, 1800
Two volumes containing nine lists prepared by Governor King for the period 1800-1802; musters have not survived however some of the information extracted from them is available as per the lists below:

List 1: Land and Stock held by Free Settlers and Emancipated or Expired Convicts in July/August 1800
Provides data such as land grant, name, livestock, crops sown & planted and location,

List 2: Land and Stock held by Officers in July/August 1800
Provides date of land grant, name, occupation, livestock, acres, crops and general remarks.

List 3: Persons Off Stores
Provides ship of arrival, residence and reason for 'off stores'.  Utilised 1801-1803.

List 4: Persons Off Stores, 1801
Companion to List 3, shows ship of arrival, name, trade, ticket of freedom (TOF), residence, ration status and reason for 'off stores'.

List 5: Expired or Emancipated Convicts and Free People Off Stores, 1801
Incomplete list containing details such as ship of arrival, trade, residence, ticket of freedom (TOF), residence, rations status and reason for 'off stores'.

List 6: List of Persons circa 1801
Provides information on arrivals; includes name and ship of arrival (incomplete).

List 7: Land and Stock held by Free Settlers, Officers or Expired or Emancipated Convicts, 1802
Provides name, ship of arrival, property status (such as grant, lease, purchase or rent), location, acres, crops, livestock, grain and stores status.

List 8: Convicts Allowed to Officers for Domestic Purposes, Supported by the Public
Includes Officer's name and occupation; servant's name and occupation; and associated remarks.

List 9: Servants Employed by Officers, 1800
Includes Officer's name and occupation; servant's name and occupation; and associated remarks.

Index that aims to help Indigenous people find information about themselves, their families and their country. Including names of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people; names of non-Indigenous people related to or associated with Indigenous people; names of missions and institutions where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people were placed; and places where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have lived or visited.  The index does not contain information about the people named. To see this information you will need to view the original records (files, papers and photographs) or photocopies of them.  Upon request the National Archives reference staff will search the index for you.
