For those asking the index was compiled from several sources, Queenstown cemetery records,Newspaper articles and additional information supplied by Richard from West Coast Heritage Authority Pty Ltd, PO Box 70, Zeehan Tasmania

On Saturday morning 12 October 1912 between 11.15 and 11.30 am it was reported that the pump house on the 700' level was on fire. The following men all lost their lives in the fire and are all buried at the Queenstown General cemetery side by side mostly in unmarked graves.
